Life and Deaths... mystery unveils An Article from a great pyschologist Dr. Linda Hancock

I am always pleased when I am invited to Mikaeli's school for Grandparent Day. This year it was held on a Wednesday which is my day off. That meant that I didn't have to get up extra early to take her for breakfast. Instead I suggested that we would go for a steak sandwich (her favourite) at noon. She topped that off with a huge slice of chocolate cake and then said she wanted to ask a favour of me. "Can we go to a cemetery now? You see I have never been to one and always wanted to go there". I first I thought she was joking - but she wasn't! My mind immediately went back to small town Saskatchewan where, many years ago, my mother would take my sister and me to care for the graves of her parents. We would wash the tombstone, pull weeds and water the rosebush that had been planted there years before. When my children were young, mom would take them there to do the same tasks. She would answer questions and tell stories about the family - stories

Finding it difficult to resist problems? Discover how, An article from "Lis Vargas"

When we talk about how to resist problems, we always end up saying you'll never make it. Finally, and as time goes on, the problem persists and we, as human beings, get up every day, live, sleep, and wake up again with the problem already included in our routines. With the passing of days, and without realizing it, we become hard, enduring the vicissitudes of life. It teaches us that the more we resist the problem being part of it, the more it makes us suffer and submerge ourselves into a depression that we do not know if we are prepared to endure or not. It is very useful, in these difficult times, to cling to beliefs of any kind without falling into any vice such as alcohol or drugs. That resistance that is creating in us, which we do not realize, is what makes us strong and tenacious in overcoming the obstacles. When children, all problems were solved by the elderly, but then in adolescence and later in adulthood you begin to be solved by ourselves
